EU funding for a greener and higher-quality living environment in Mislinja

SLOVENIA, September 25 - The project covers the establishment of a new recreational area, a themed educational trail, a local park, and the upgrade of an existing children’s playground. The implementation and spatial planning of the project will take into account the characteristics of the existing space and the use of natural materials, with measures that are as minimally invasive to the environment as possible.

The investment will enhance access to green infrastructure for all residents of Mislinja and visitors to the municipality and contribute to the preservation and quality of life in the urban part of the municipality. The project will renovate 1.5 hectares of green spaces.

The project is implemented under Slovenia’s EU Cohesion Policy Programme 2021–2027. The project, worth €735,579.20, will receive €591,600 from the European Regional Development Fund. The beneficiary of the funding is the Municipality of Mislinja.
